Cruza is an outdoor collection based on the study of encounters and intersections between round tubes of different sections. Laser cutting technology allows for openings in the tubes in such a way that they appear to intersect or support each other, giving rise to a series of details that function as a catalog of connections. When these details are individually combined in a piece, they come together to form a system that enables the creation of various typologies. The spacing between the tubes is arranged closely enough for the tangents of two consecutive tubes to act as a supporting plane, while also being spaced far enough apart to allow water and light to pass through the pieces. The use of a significant amount of material in each piece of the collection provides rigidity and robustness, two qualities that we consider essential for outdoor furniture. The collection was presented using a hot-dip galvanized finish, a process that creates a zinc coating on steel pieces through immersion, aiming to protect the material from corrosion caused by moisture and environmental pollution. Cruza consists of 7 pieces: an individual bench, a long bench, a chair, a stool, an armchair, an individual table, and a rectangular table. Coming soon in a variety of colors.
