FOA Playroom
For the Casa FOA 2016 edition, we teamed up with two friendly studios -La Feliz and Taller Posible- with the purpose of designing the space we were assigned: an adult playroom. On the one hand, we presented pieces that were already in our catalog, and on the other hand, each studio developed specific pieces for the space. In our case, we made a marble ping pong table with bronze plated steel inlays to represent the court lines, and in order to adapt to the limited space, half of the game table was made of bronze-colored mirrors, mounted on the wall to simulate the table being folded. This creates an optical illusion since, when reflected in the mirror, the marble half of the table is duplicated and appears whole.
