The Aro chair has become one of the most distinctive pieces of the studio over the years. We first introduced it in 2017, and since then, we have been adjusting and perfecting various aspects to arrive at the definitive version we have today. It is composed by a three-legged powder coated steel structure, a circular seat, and a curved backrest, both upholstered. We believe that the value of this chair lies, on the one hand, in a series of seemingly imperceptible details at first glance, as it lacks visible screws or welds. The connection between the legs and the structure supporting the seat – and the connection between the legs and the backrest – seems to be suspended in the air, without visible elements suggesting how these parts are linked. On the other hand, the diversity of processes that individually make up the Aro chair is an expression of love for craftsmanship and the national industry. From laser cutting to 3D printing, from metalworking to woodworking, or from upholstery to powder coat painting, the involvement of many hands in the production of each chair is evident in the final piece, serving as tangible testimony to the richness and mastery of each process. Spacious, comfortable, and sturdy, the Aro chair is built with precision and attention to detail, making it an ideal piece for furnishing dining rooms, outfitting restaurants and hotels, or complementing a cozy living space.
