‘C’ Trash Bins
The ‘C’ trash bins are a piece of urban furniture developed in collaboration with architecture studio adamo-faiden as a part of the equipment for Catalina Square.
They are composed by a casing made of 88.9 mm and 4mm thick steel tubes cut to half a cane and fixed to each other with 44.5 mm steel strips. These strips link the outer shell with ten Ø11mm steel rods inside the trash bean, which in turn are inserted in ten lathed stainless steel pieces bolted to the floor. A stainless steel sheet disposed in the interior of the shell generates a visual counterpoint with the supports and provides a surface to put out the cigarettes protecting the paint of the trash bins.
